Life’s Hurricanes-“For some years I have been afflicted with the belief that flight is possible to man. … It is possible to fly without motors, but not without knowledge and skill.” —Wilbur Wright
According to the laws of velocity and resistance, objects that are aerodynamic and solid are better equipped to stand against harsh winds at high speeds. For this reason airplanes and racecars are crafted in a way that allows them to move fast with little wind resistance. If an airplane has any faulty or loose parts, the wind resistance will expose those parts. If left unchecked, these loose parts of the aircraft can cause disastrous consequences later in the journey. By gaining knowledge and skill from their experiences, the Wright brothers were able to perfect and fly the first airplane. The same is true in our lives. If we can learn from our challenges and learn from the past, we can gain the knowledge and skills necessary to begin to live our passions. Take some time to reflect on some of the resistance or challenges you have been through in your life. What are some of the positive lessons that you have learned?
